We extend our sincere thanks to the members of our community who joined us for both sessions held on February 10. Your willingness to come together, listen, ask questions, and engage in open conversation speaks volumes about the care and commitment we share for the safety and wellbeing of our children and youth.

We are especially grateful to Corporal Bangle of the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) for taking the time to be with us and for delivering such important, timely information. ALERT is a specialized provincial law enforcement unit that works across Alberta to combat serious and organized crime, including internet child exploitation. Their work focuses on prevention, investigation, and community education—helping keep Albertans, particularly our most vulnerable, safe.

During the sessions, the community received critical information on online safety for kids and youth. Corporal Bangle provided clear, compassionate education on the realities of internet child exploitation in Alberta, along with practical strategies for parents and caregivers to navigate these issues in an open, collaborative, and supportive way with their children.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience at such an important time. These conversations matter, and they help build a safer, more informed, and more connected community for all of us.
