Harvest for Health 2024

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Aspen Crossing, a committed community partner whose ongoing support has been invaluable to us. Your contribution has made a significant impact on our initiatives and we are truly grateful for your support.

Aspen Crossing has not only shared its passion for health with the past VCHW Foundation events, but also demonstrated a commendable commitment to promoting well-being in our community. We deeply appreciate your efforts in this regard.

This year was no different, as they hosted our second Harvest for Health Rail Excursion, a resounding success that we are all proud of. From the preboarding garden party to the beautiful evening train ride, the Steel Scouts Train Robbery, and a delicious harvest meal, every aspect was a triumph.

It was an excellent event for everyone.

Following our Harvest for Health event, we were invited to the Aspen Crossing Appreciation event on September 13th. Again, we enjoyed excellent company and an outstanding meal. Later in the evening, we were presented with a generous donation of $11,745.50, which will significantly support areas of greatest need, making a tangible difference in our community.

Again, we thank the team at Aspen Crossing and look forward to future collaborations. We wish them great success with their upcoming train season as they celebrate their 20th anniversary of operations.
